Configure Google Android to join UALR-WiFi (alternative instructions)

If the typical Google Android instructions did not work for your computer, try these alternative instructions to for the UALR-WiFi network.

Step-by-step guide

 

  1. Swipe down from the home screen and select the settings icon located in the upper-right corner of the screen.  The icon looks like a gear.
     

  2. Select "Connections," then "WiFi." Make sure WiFi is turned on.
     



  3. Enter the following information: 
    Identity: Your full UALR Email
    Password: Your UALR Email Password
    CA certificate: Use system certificates
    Domain: ualr.edu
    EAP method: PEAP
    Minimum TLS version: TLS v1.0
    Online certificate status: Don't validate
    Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPV2




  4. Scroll down and tap "Connect." You should be connected to the UALR WiFi. Note that anytime your UALR password is reset, you may have to follow this process again.
