Linux 802.1x endpoint configuration guide validated on Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS

 Instructions

  1. Open wired settings.

  2. Select network options to the right of the port in question.

  3. Navigate to Security tab and add configuration.

    1. Authentication: Protected EAP (PEAP)
      Inner Authentication: MSCHAPv2
      netid 2.0 username and password

  4. You may have to toggle the off then back on from the wired settings menu.
